Did you know that our parish hosts a pre-K program for children ages 3 & 4? Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with half-day and full-day enrollment options. We are excited to welcome Angela Gladman as the assistant director of this program. Angela has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, and has taught pre-school, kindergarten, and 1st grade. Angela, her husband Jordan, and their two children are St. Ann's parishioners! A practice for next Sunday's First Communion Mass will be held at 11 a.m. this Saturday (May 5) in the church. Please be on time! Thank you!

Faith Formation classes (pre-K through adult) will not meet this weekend because of Spring Break. Classes will resume next Sunday (March 18).

Due to the long holiday weekend, we will not have faith formation classes (pre-school through adult) on Sunday, February 18. Classes will resume next Sunday (February 25).

The spring adult education class exploring the Gospel of Mark meets each week from 10:05 to 10:55 in the adult education room. It's not too late to join!

Faith Formation classes will resume next Sunday (January 7). High school student will meet together in the adult education room. The adult class will not meet next week; it will begin Sunday, January 14.

This week, Fr. Busch's "Questions of Faith" class will be a Q&A session. There will be no Adult Education next Sunday (December 24) or the following two Sunday (December 31 and January 7). A new Adult Education Class will begin on Sunday, January 14.

This week's topic in Fr. Busch's "Question of Faith" class is "Does praying for ourselves and/or others really make any difference?" Next Sunday's topic will be "How is Christ present in the Eucharist?" Join us on Sunday mornings from 10:05 to 10:55 a.m.

RCIA will not meet on Sunday, November 26, because of the Thanksgiving break.

Sunday mornings at 10:05 a.m. in the adult education classroom for high school students and adults. This week's topic in Fr. Busch's "Questions of Faith" class is Can non-Christians be saved?" Next week (Nov. 19), we will discuss "What happens to us after we die?"

Adults interested in becoming Catholic are invited to join us at 7 p.m. this Tuesday, October 3, for a "Come and See" evening. You will have an opportunity to meet with members of the RCIA team for an informal question and answer  session to learn more about the process of becoming Catholic. Refreshments will be served. Please extend an invitation to any adults you know who might be interested in attending this event.

This class meets on Sunday mornings at 10:05 a.m. in the adult education classroom. Next Sunday (October 29) we will discuss "What does it mean to be saved?"

This week's topic in Fr. Busch's "Questions of Faith" class (for high school students and adults) is "What do we mean when we say God?" Next week's topic will be "Is it possible to prove the existence of God?" Join us each Sunday at 10:05 a.m. in the adult education classroom.

This fall, Fr. Busch will teach an adult class (open to high school students and adults) on Sunday mornings called "Questions of Faith." Each week, we will consider a different "big question" with which Catholic Christians wrestle and consider some possible answers to those questions. It promises to be an interesting semester. Join us beginning on Sunday September 10, at 10:05 a.m. in the adult education classroom!

Please stop by the Faith Formation table at the parish ministry to register your children for faith formation for the 2017/2018 school year. The fee is $15 for one child, $25 for two children, and $30 for three or more children.

We are still in need of someone to teach the 3rd grade class on Sunday mornings this year. If you are interested, please call Adrian Johnson ASAP at 655-3302. 

Many thanks to Erica Knox, who has done such a great job guiding our youth ministry program for the past year and a half, and to Collin Backus, who served so well as our interim religious education director this past semester! Our parish family is extremely grateful for the time and energy they put into these ministries! Erica has already begun her new position as the Executive Director of the Amarillo Agency for Women. Collin will be leaving Canyon at the end of July to begin his formation as a Cistercian monk at Our Lady of Dallas Abbey in Irving, Texas.

Later this week, Adrian Johnson, his wife Hattie, and their daughter Vienna will arrive in Canyon and Adrian will begin his ministry among us as the full-time coordinator of our religious education and youth ministry programs. Adrian has a bachelor's degree in theology from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He is excited about this opportunity to pursue his vocation as a professional lay minister and we look forward to the many gifts he will bring to our parish community. Please extend a warm welcome to Adrian, Hattie, and Vienna!
