St. Ann's has a parish subscription to FORMED. You can sign up for Formed by going to formed.org/signup on your PC or laptop and entering "St. Ann's Catholic Church" into the search bar.  It will say "St. Ann's Catholic Church, 605 38th Street, TX" and that is our parish. A baptism preparation class will be held this Tuesday, March 10. This session is for those who are planning to have a son or daughter baptized in the next few months, and for thos who will serve as a godparent. You must be a registered parishioner for at least three months or have a letter of active participation from your pastor in order to participate in this class. Please call the parish office at 655-3302 to register for the class.

St. Ann's is forming a team of various coupls who will accompany engaged couples as sponsor couples in the preparation process of being married in the Catholic Church. You don't have to have a perfect marriage (no one does!). Only an esteem for the sacrament of marriage and a heart for couples who can benefit from your experience are required. Training in a Catholic marriage preparation curriculum will be provided. St. Ann's is blessed with many young people. The need is here, and the Spirit is calling. Please email Fr. There will be no faith formation classes (pre-K through adult) or RCIA classes on the following Sundays:  December 22, December 29, and January 5. Classes resume on Sunday, January 12.

Registration forms for this week-long summer catechetical program for students entering grades 1-12 are on the table in the narthex or in the parish office. This year's program will be June 23-28. Students in grades 1-5 will meet from 9 a.m-3 p.m. on Monday through Friday, while students in grades 6-12 will meet Sunday through Thursday evenings from 7-9:15 p.m. This year's program will focus on the sacraments and the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary. The registration deadline has been extended until Friday, June 14. We are in need of some adult volunteers to serve as classroom assistants and lunch/snack assistants during the morning and afternoon sessions of Totus Tuus. Sign up sheets for volunteers are on the glass table in the narthex.

Sunday, May 19, is the last day of faith formation classes for the 2018-19 school year. Thank you to all of our catechists for your commitment to the religious education of the young people of our parish family! We appreciate the time and energy you invest in this critical ministry!

Students who are preparing to receive First Communion in May will have an opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Penance for the first time on Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m. in the church. A student who is unable to be present for this celebration may celebrate the Sacrament of Penance at another time prior to First Communion Sunday (May 5). Please check the weekly schedule in the bulletin for those days and times.

Come discuss this month's adult study book ("Embracing Grace:  Discovering the Gospel that Restores Us to God, Creation, and Ourselves" by Scot McKnight) on Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. or Friday, April 12, at 1 p.m.

"Entering the Passion of Jesus," our adult DVD/discussion series, continues on Sunday morning at 10:20 a.m. in classroom #1. All adults are welcome!

Join us this Tuesday (February 19) for our discussion about this month's book selection, Barbara Brown Taylor's An Altar in the World. You may choose to attend the group that will meet at noon (with pizza) or the group that will meet at 7 p.m. (with desserts). Both groups will meet in meeting Room C.

Beginning on Sunday, February 17, adults are welcome to join us in the adult education classroom (room 4) for a 6-part video series and discussion entitled "Entering the Passion of Jesus" featuring Amy-Jill Levine, a renowned New Testament professor at Vanderbilt University. The class will begin each week at 10:20 a.m.

OOur new weekend Mass schedule will take effect next weekend (February 2 & 3). The new Mass times are:  Saturday evening at 6 p.m., Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Faith Formation classes will meet on Sunday mornings from 10:20-11:15 a.m. RCIA will meet on Sundays beginning at 12:45 p.m. Sacrament of Penance:  the weekly schedule in each Sunday bulletin will list the day and time this opportunity will be offered each week. (The day and time will also be posted on the parish website.) Confessions are also available by appointment. Thank you to everyone who completed the Flocknote survey for your input and comments. 

Classes for students and pre-K through 12th grade resume this Sunday (January 13) at 9:55 a.m. The adult class, however, will not be meeting this week.

There will be no Faith Formation classes or RCIA next Sunday (November 25) because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume on Sunday, December 2.

The adult class will not meet this week (Sunday, October 14). We will resume our study of Catholic social teaching next Sunday (October 21) at 10:10 in classroom #1.

All catechists for grades pre-school through high school will meet this Sunday afternoon (August 26) at 1 p.m. in meeting room C. Thank you for your service to our parish community!

All faith formation classes (pre-K through adult) will begin on Sunday, September 9. Classes for pre-K through high school students meet from 9:55 to 11 a.m. The adult class meets from 10:10 to 10:50 a.m. Please make every effort to be on time for all classes. If you have not registered your children for classes, please contact Adrian Johnson, our parish's Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry, prior to the first day of classes! There will be a special blessing for all catechists at all Masses on the weekend of September 8-9.

Registration for faith formation classes (pre-K through adult) for the 2018-19 school year will be held after all Masses this weekend. Please register your child/children ASAP. All faith formation classes, including the adult class, begin on Sunday, September 9.
