We haven’t had a food drive or outreach project lately. We have become aware, however, that the Fill With Hope outreach that provides snack packets for the food-challenged students in Canyon ISD are in desperate need of peanut butter donations. For the next several weeks, we will have a bin in the church narthex as well as the Blessed Sacrament Chapel (open 24 hours) to collect donations of medium-sized jars of peanut butter (16 ounce or 28 ounce jars). Do you love the Catholic faith and want to help those who have stopped practicing their faith to come back? St. Ann's is starting a new ministry, Landings, to reach out and invite Catholics who have drifted away from the Church to return home. A welcome team is needed to begin the ministry. There will be a training for all team members at the beginning of September and the program will begin around the first of November. The Great St. Ann's Ice Cream Churn-Off will be on Sunday, June 12, from 6-8 p.m. in the parish hall. If you are interested in preparing some homemade ice cream, please stop by the parish office to pick up our "contest rules." It promises to be a fun night with lots of great ice cream to taste! We will have hot dogs provided by our own Knights of Columbus, and play bingo in the hall! Everyone is invited to sample the ice cream and enjoy this social evening! A grand prize and additional prizes will be awarded.

Our next session is Saturday, June 4, at 9 a.m. in the Adult Education Room. The certification lasts 5 years. As we put every aspect of our lives under the protection of God, our parish will host a blessings of cars, automobiles, RVs, boats, dune buggies, Segways, scooters, etc. on Saturday and Sunday, June 11 & 12, after each Mass. Please carefully drive your vehicle to the front of the church, forming two lines running south from Tierra Blanca Drive towards the church parking lot. Your vehicle will be blessed and doused with holy water.

The Bach Lunches are a wonderful time for Lenten reflection. They are held at various churches on Fridays during Lent and are sponsored by the Amarillo Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Each program begins at 12:05 p.m. with a 25-minute recital. Following each concert, the church will provide a place to eat your "Bach's lunch" that you bring. Coffee, tea, and water are also provided. On Friday, April 1, the Bach Lunch recital will be at St. Ann's, with Cindy Good and Dr. Elizabeth McKee as the featured organists.

Nathaniel Benversie, cofounder of Exodus 90, will be in our diocese to give a talk called "Live Different." All the men of the Church are invited to come together on the evening of Friday, March 18, at St. Ann's to hear the message on personal prayer, self-sacrifice, and real fraternity. The talk is at 7 p.m., followed by an Adoration hour. Parish Stations of the Cross will also take place at 6 p.m. before the event.
