Our annual Halloween Carnival is scheduled for Monday, October 31, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall. All students are asked to bring a box of Little Debbies to CCD or Wednesday youth night between now and then. Adults, if you are able to provide a bag of candy, we will have designated barrels available in the narthex until, Sunday, October 30th, to drop off candy.

We have a tentative 5th and 6th grade youth program set to start up on Sunday, October 23, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall. We will have a Children's Liturgy of the Word information meeting today (Sunday, October 2) in between the Masses in the church OR Tuesday, October 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Adult Education Room. Please come if you have signed up to help or wish to help.

Come spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament this Wednesday (October 5) from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Come for however much time you'd like or sign up to come for an hour on the sign-up sheet in the narthex! We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

We welcome all children who have received their First Communion to come and learn to serve in the Mass. Our training will be held in the church between the Masses on Sunday, October 16. Please sign up in the narthex to get trained!

While we are in one of the safest towns in Texas, we want to be proactive in making sure our parish is a safe and secure environment for all. After much prayer and deliberation among our deacons, leadership councils, and parish staff, we will be implementing new security measures beginning the weekend of October 1 & 2. The new safety protocols are detailed in Fr. Scott's Pastor's Corner in the September 25 bulletin. Please click on "New Weekend Safety Protocols" at the top of the article to view.

Calling all Moms! The moms of young children and home-schooled children will be meeting every Thursday at 9 a.m. for play and fellowship. If you are interested, please contact Hattie Jonson. (Her email address is in the September 18 bulletin.)

This class meets on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. in the Adult Ed Room and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room B (across from the Faith Formation Office).

St. Ann's high-school youth will have a retreat on Friday and Saturday, October 7 & 8. The guys will be going to Ceta Glenn and the ladies will be at the Panhandle Convent. The next Reborn session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. You must pre-register for this class. This session is for those who are planning to have a son or daughter baptized, and those who have been invited to serve as a godparent. As our regular youth ministry has shifted to middle school and high school youth, we are looking for a team of adults who would like to start a program for our 5th and 6th grade intermediate students. Students preparing to receive First Communion in the spring AND their parents must come to a mandatory First Reconciliation workshop to receive supplemental materials for teaching their children about the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
