Our spiritual book club will meet on Wednesday, July 26, at 7 p.m. in the parish conference room to discuss our latest read, Atchison Blue: A Search for Silence, a Spiritual Home, and a Living Faith by Judith Valente There's still time to get the book and read it. Gathering for the discussion is optional. We just want folks reading, growing, and deepening in the life of the spirit. At our discussion we will be choosing our next read.

The Totus Tuus team is here and the evening program for teens (grades 7-12) starts tonight (Sunday) at 7 p.m. The day program (grades 1-6) starts tomorrow, Monday, June 26, at 9 a.m. Remember to send 1st-6th graders with sack lunches. Make plans to join us for a special Corpus Christi morning for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday, June 11. St. Ann's will be hosting a Corpus Christi procession between the Masses on Sunday, June 11, at the old courthouse on the Square. After the 9 a.m. Mass, we will all arrive for Journey Coffee and donuts around 10 a.m. and begin the procession around the courthouse at 10:30 a.m. We will then come back for Mass at 11:30 a.m.

The Great St. Ann's Ice Cream Churn Off will be on Sunday, June 11, from 6-8 p.m. in the parish hall. If you are interested in preparing some homemade ice cream, please stop by the glass table in the narthex or the parish office to pick up our "house rules" and to register for the your entry in the Churn Off. You can also click anywhere in this article to connect to the registration form. It promises to be a fun night with lots of great ice cream to taste! We will have hot dogs provided by our own Knights of Columbus in the parish hall! This is a fundraiser for our youth! Bring some cash or change to "vote" on your favorite ice cream. The ice cream that brings in the most money will receive the top prize! Two other prizes will be awarded to the ice cream most pleasing to the palate. All money raised will go to Youth Ministry.

Divine Mercy Sunday is April 16, 2023. This is a wonderful time for conversion, inviting others to return to the Church, and growing closer to Christ's merciful heart on this feast. Please note the following opportunities at St. Ann's to celebrate this feast and receive the special plenary indulgence decreed by the Church: Extra Confession hours: Saturday, April 15, from 3-4:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 22, 3-4:30 p.m. Please note that Confession for the indulgence may occur twenty days before or after the Feast of Divine Mercy. Praying the Our Father, Apostles' Creed, and a special Hail Mary for the Pope after all the weekend Masses of April 15-16. Encouragement of all to practice works of mercy and charity, especially inviting inactive Catholics back to the practice of their faith. The spiritual and corporal works of mercy are: Feed the hungry; Instruct the ignorant; Give drink to the thirsty; Pray for the living and the dead; Shelter the homeless; Comfort the sorrowful; Visit the imprisoned; Bear wrongs patiently; Care for the sick; Counsel the doubtful; Bury the dead; Admonish the sinner; Clothe the naked; Forgive offenses. In addition, we will have Divine Mercy materials such as holy cards and the Divine Mercy Novena available in the narthex, place an image of Divine Mercy in the sanctuary for this feast, and gather at St. Ann's at 3 p.m. that Sunday to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
