    Join us to make blessing bags! What is a blessing bag? It is a care package that contains essential items for individuals experiencing homelessness. These bags typically include toiletries, non-perishable food, and warm accessories to meet immediate needs. The Young Adult Group (ages 23-35) will meet on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall to make blessing bags. Pizza will be provided.     All parishioners are invited to join us for an evening of games, food, and fun! Our Halloween Carnival is on Wednesday, 6:30-8 p.m. in the Parish Family Hall. Hot dogs and chips will be served. This event is sponsored by the youth of our parish. There is no charge, but cash donations will be accepted. Also, the youth will be doing wash-off glitter tattoos, face painting, and permanent jewelry for a small cost to raise money for camp.

    Bring your creatures, great and small, to the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 6, at 4 p.m. The blessing will take place in the east parking lost next to the playground. For the safety of all present, please keep your pet on a leash or in a crate. This custom remembers Saint Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, and is celebrated on or near ​his feast day of October 4.

    Our Fallback Committee is already diligently planning for our annual Fallback Dinner and Dance on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Prepare to be contacted or even volunteer to be a sponsor of the event and/or donate an item/experience/service to the silent auction by contacting Theresa Hernandez (her contact information is in the September 1 bulletin) as soon as possible. Of course everyone will be urged to buy tickets and sell tickets to your neighbors, family, and friends.     Make plans to join us for a special Corpus Christi morning for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday, June 2. St. Ann's will be hosting a Corpus Christi procession between the Masses on Sunday, June 2, at the old courthouse on the Square. After the 9 a.m. Mass, we will all arrive for coffee and donuts around 10 a.m. and begin the procession around the courthouse at 10:30 a.m. We will then come back for Mass at 11:30 a.m

  • Knights of Columbus Pickleball Tournament
    St. Ann's Knights of Columbus Council #7840 will be holding a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Amarillo National Tennis Center (5000 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109). Registration is $50 per person for one event, and $20 extra for the second event. Registration is required before 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, to establish brackets. T-shirts and a meal by KofC are part of the registration. Packet pickup will be the day of the event (June 15) 40 minutes prior to play at the ANTC.     Into the Desert is the theme of our Lenten Mission led by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Sarah Hart on Sunday, Feb. 25 and Monday, Feb. 26. Sarah will explore the themes of sacrifice, prayer and almsgiving during times of hardship. Her presentations will begin both evenings at 6:30.
