Blessing of the Animals

Bring your creatures, great and small, to the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 6, at 4 p.m. The blessing will take place in the east parking lost next to the playground. For the safety of all present, please keep your pet on a leash or in a crate. This custom remembers Saint Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, and is celebrated near ​his feast day of October 4.
