STEPS TO REGISTERING FOR BAPTISM/BECOMING A SPONSOR
1. Read the Baptism Handout found here.
- Hardcopies of the handout are also available in the Narthex of the church
- This form provides you with the general baptism process at St Ann's and will explain any requirements as well
2. Attend a Baptism Welcome session in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel
- These sessions are offered after each mass on the third weekend of the month
- During this session you will complete a baptism information form and receive instructions on your next steps.
3. Complete the required Baptism class- Depending on your specific circumstances this class may be waived (example: already completing the course for a previous baptism)
4. In-person meeting with Deacon Gabe for a class recap session.- During this session you can schedule your baptism date

ABOUT CATHOLIC BAPTISMS
The Catholic community strongly believes that every child is a gift from God — no exceptions! When you have your child baptized in the Catholic Church, you are giving thanks and seeking that they be included and welcomed into the family of God, the Church. You are also making them recipients of God’s promised grace and God’s offer of salvation. Needless to say, a Christian baptism is not just a ceremony or a tradition. It is a serious commitment on the part of parents and godparents as well as the entire Christian community to do all that is necessary to follow through with our promises to God and the child to raise them in the light of Christ through our own example of faith.
