Baptism Registration Meetings will be held after each Mass on June 21 & 22. Those seeking Baptism for their child or who have been asked to be a Godparent at our parish or another should attend this quick, informational meeting! It is required by the church and only takes a few minutes.

Join us for St. Ann's Night at HODGETOWN to cheer on the Sod Poodles as they play the San Antonio Missions on Wednesday, June 11. The gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7:05 p.m. game. RSVP by calling the parish office at 806-655-3302 or emailing [email protected].

Got Jesus – will travel. As we put every aspect of our lives under the protection of God, our parish will host a blessing of cars, SUVs, trucks, RV’s, boats, motorcycles, etc. on the weekend of June 7-8 after each Mass. Please watch for signs that day and follow those instructions. Your vehicle will be blessed and you will receive a new parish sticker for your car window as well as a little something for the inside.

Our new Senior Enrichment program kicks off this Wednesday, June 4!! If you are 60 years or older, we invite you to join us from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Holy Family Room. This week we will begin with an introduction to the program, followed by a catered meal, door prizes and games. For questions please email Marla Gales at [email protected].

Current Nursery workers and those interested in becoming part of the Nursery Ministry need to be present at one of the following meetings: Sunday, May 18, at 10:15 a.m. OR Wednesday, May 21, at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be in the Sts. Joachim and Anne Room. Working the Nursery is a paid position. If you are interested. you must be at least 15 years old, pass a background check, and be willing to take the Safe Environment Training required by the Diocese. A training for new Ushers will be held on Sunday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. Each Mass requires a team of people in order to run smoothly. Our Ushers help assist church members and visitors with a positive and welcoming experience during church services. This includes tasks like helping people find seating, distributing bulletins or programs, and maintaining order and a clean environment. If you are interested in this important ministry, please contact David Rohrbach or Manuel Vega.

St. Helen's Outreach is at it again as they seed to meet a need that is afflicting too many in our society: the hunger for community. Starting on Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., St. Ann's will host a weekly Senior Enrichment Group for parishioners aged 60+ in our new Holy Family Room. These gatherings will include a meal, conversation, special-interest presentations, and more! Stay tuned for more information and plan to join us for these gatherings of fellowship.

The Ministry Fair will be in the parish hall the weekend of May 3 & 4, after all Masses. Whether you're looking to volunteer, learn more about ministries, or find new ways to use your gifts, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved and grow together in Christ. Let's stay rooted in faith and branch out in service!

Divine Mercy Sunday is April 27,. This is a wonderful for conversion, inviting others to return to Church, and growing closer to Christ's merciful heart on this feast. Please note the following opportunities at St. Ann's to celebrate the feast and receive the plenary indulgence decreed by the Church: Extra Confession Hours: Saturday, April 26, and Saturday, May 3, from 3-4:30 p.m. Pray the Our Father, Apostles' Creed, and a special Hail Mary for the Pope after all the weekend Masses of April 26 & 27. Encouragement of all to practice works of mercy and charity, especially inviting inactive Catholics back to practice their faith. Please plan on joining us on Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Meet at St. Ann's for Stations of the Cross after the 5:30 Mass on Thursday, April 10. We will meet as a group at Texas Rose Steakhouse afterwards for dinner!

Remember that our is a God of surprises? Is God surprising you with a nudge or a push to serve on our Parish Pastoral Council? Or maybe you know of someone that you think would be a great fit. A consultative board that assists the pastor to understand and implement the parish vision according to God's lead and the Church's mission, this is one of the most important ministries in the life of our parish. Fr. Scott has chosen Laudato Si, the Encyclical Letter on Care for our Common Home by Pope Francis for the next Spiritual Book Club read. We have limited copies in the Parish Office available for $8 each. The discussion date will be announced later.

The Ladies of St. Ann's will be selling Blooming in Your Faith 3-2-1 Drawing tickets before and after each Mass the weekends of March 29 & 30 and April 5 & 6. Tickets are $10 each. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, May 6: 3 $100 gift cards 2 $500 gift cards 1 $1000 gift card

On March 19, we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph as the husband of the Virgin Mary. We invite you to join us for daily Mass at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, and then to visit the St. Joseph's table in the Narthex where you will find blessed holy cards, a Litany of St. Joseph handout, and a sweet treat for you to take.

Our guest speaker is Jason Boyett, an experienced professional writer whose work includes books, feature journalism, celebrity ghostwriting, high-end corporate copywriting, and the popular Religiverse newsletter. He is also heavily involved in the media landscape of Amarillo, Texas, his hometown, as host and creator of the Hey Amarillo podcast and cofounder of the award-winning, Amarillo-focused magazine, Brick & Elm. Join us on Wednesday, March 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to hear Jason speak on A Stroll Through the Apocalypse and the End of the World.

The Bach's Lunch series is (Bach) by popular demand! Bring a box lunch and some friends with you. The Bach's Lunches are a wonderful time for Lenten reflection and good music among friends. Held at various churches in Amarillo and Canyon on selected Fridays during Lent, each program will begin promptly at 12:05 p.m. with a 25-minute organ recital. Following the recital, if allowed, the host church will provide tea, coffee, and a place to eat. You'll have plenty of time to get (Bach) to work by 1 p.m. Friday, March 21 @ St. Ann's Catholic Church; Dr. Elizabeth McKee, Organist Johann Sebastian Bach's 340th birthday!

If you are a Catholic who has been away from the Church, know that we have missed you! One way to explore returning to active participation in the Church is through the Landings program here with our church community. Landings is an eight-week program that offers a "safe place to land," a place for listening and for being heard, a place for asking questions and for reconnecting with the faith as an adult.
