Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption

Ordinarily August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a holy day of obligation. But not this year. Most dioceses in the western United States do not require Mass attendance when such holy days fall on a Saturday or Monday. While it is not obligatory, we will have a Mass for the solemnity on Monday, August 15, at 8 a.m. in the church. Come celebrate all that God's grace has accomplished in the life of Mary - the same grace that can accomplish great things in us!
