The Children's Christmas Choir will be singing at the Christmas Eve Mass on Tuesday, December 24, at 4 p.m. The choir is open to children in the first through eighth grades. Practice will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, 12, and 19 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the church. The choir will meet at 3:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve in the church and begin singing our prelude music at 3:30 p.m. Parents, please contact Elizabeth McKee at [email protected] to sign up.

The Bach's Lunch Series is back by popular demand! Bring a box lunch and friends for a delightful time of Lenten reflection and music. The program starts at 12:05 p.m. at St. Ann's with a 25-minute organ recital, allowing you to return to work by 1 p.m. St. Ann's Music Director, Dr. Elizabeth McKee, is the featured organist on Friday, March 1. The Bach's Lunch series is sponsored by the Amarillo Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Are you interested in singing with the choir at any Holy Week services? Any 14 years of age or older is welcome to join, and those 13 years of age and younger may attend if accompanied by a parent or older sibling. We will practice for the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday on Thursday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the church, concluding with a run through of all the Holy Week music plans. Our Children's Christmas Mass the year will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 24th. Christmas Vigil Mass will be at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 24th and our Christmas Day celebration is at 10 a.m. We invite all youth and adults from the parish to join their voices for this celebration! Summertime is a great time to give our choir a break and "try out" a choir seat for yourself. We are very informal ... just arrive 30 minutes before Mass at the Music Office and grab a folder. There is no pressure or commitment, just enjoy hanging out with the music ministers this summer. The July practices are: Thursday, July 7: 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Practice in the church) Thursday, July 28: 5:45-6:30 p.m. (Food), 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Practice in the church)

A big shout out to our Music Ministry and the great job they do with all of the liturgical celebrations at the parish. We will be hearing from them a lot in the next couple of weeks, so please take some time to thank these amazingly gifted people for their time in making our Masses so beautiful. We are blessed to have some incredible WT students musicians, cantors and parishioners share their talents for our Sunday liturgies and at weddings, funerals, feast days, and other celebrations. Cindy Good, our Music Director, does an excellent job organizing this great ministry. St. Ann's parishioners are invited to join our choir for Christmas Masses this year! Our first practice will Thursday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Please feel free to contact Cindy Good in the parish office at 806-655-3302 with any questions you may have.

St. Ann's is going to resume choir practices on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Our first practice will be Thursday, August 26, at 5:45 PM, with a meet and greet in the conference room in the parish office area. There will be food, fellowship, and fun! At 6:30 p.m., we will adjourn to the church for an hour-long practice.

We will have choir practice in the church on Thursday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. We will be working on music for our special liturgies in May. We invite all existing choir members and any new parishioners that would like to join our choir family. Please keep in mind that we will continue to have the choirs at the Sunday Masses during the summer. We would love to have new people help fill in for "vacationing" music ministers! We hope to see everyone at the practice on May 13 and welcome any new members! We will continue to require masks and ask everyone to social distance. St. Ann's is very appreciative of the AWESOME job that the choir did on the Triduum liturgies! We look forward to their continuing successes. We will be having a choir practice in the church on Thursday, April 29th at 6:30 p.m. We invite all current choir members and any parishioners who would like to join our choir family. We will be working on music for May and hopefully this will be the start of more "regular" practices. We will continue to require masks and ask everyone to social distance.
