Our Fallback Committee is already diligently planning for our annual Fallback Dinner and Dance on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Prepare to be contacted or even volunteer to be a sponsor of the event and/or donate an item/experience/service to the silent auction by contacting Theresa Hernandez (her contact information is in the September 1 bulletin) as soon as possible. Of course everyone will be urged to buy tickets and sell tickets to your neighbors, family, and friends. The proceeds from this event are needed more than even as we look to pay for our new buildings under construction. Thank you!

Join us for the 20th Fallback Festival, a Mardi Gras Masquerade! It will be on Saturday, November 4, from 6:30-11:30 p.m. in the parish hall. The evening features music by Next to Kin, a steak dinner for 2, a reverse drawing, silent and live auctions, and a donation bar. Costumes are encouraged. Check out our sign-up table in the narthex to volunteer to help with this year's Fallback Festival! We are looking for volunteers in various roles to make this fundraiser for the capital campaign a success!

St. Ann's Fallback Festival will be on Saturday, November 6, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the parish hall. Tickets are $125 for two, and include a steak dinner, dance, and an entry in the reverse drawing for a grand prize of $5,000. There will also be a sneak peek of the new building plans! Please call the parish office at 806-655-3302 to get your tickets!

After much deliberation and thought, our parish FallBack Committee has decided to cancel this year's FallBack Dinner and Dance due to the unpredictability of COVID and discouragement by health authorities from gathering indoors in large groups. The good news:  The faithful financial stewardship by our parishioners has made this year's  fundraiser less urgent for us to meet our budget and pay our bills. The better news:  We are planning a family-oriented "Trunk or Treat" on the originally scheduled FallBack date, Saturday, October 31. Details about this parish event will be forthcoming.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Fallback Festival a big success! Special thanks to Becky Lopez for once again chairing this year's event ... and to all who served as committee chairs and co-chairs! Your hard work and dedication is much appreciated! Preliminary calculations indicate that our parish made of profit of more than $15,000 for this year's event.

The 16th Annual Fallback Festival will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 6:30-11:30 p.m. in the parish hall. Sign up sheeets for volunteers are on the table in the narthex. Please stop by after Mass to add your name to one or more of these lists. Your ticket includes:  steak dinner for two with all the trimmings (served from 6:30-8 p.m.), dancing with live music by Young Country, silent auction, a donation bar, and entry in the reverse raffle, with 5 great prizes to be awarded, a $5,000 MasterCard gift card as the grand prize. Tickets are available from Martin and Becky Lopez, Bryan Crabtree, and the St. Ann's parish office. Join us for an evening of great food and fun!

The Fallback Dinner and Dance will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 6:30 p.m. to Midnight. Tickets are $75 per couple. Committee chairs will meet this Monday (September 24) at 7 p.m. in meeting room C. We still need a few volunteers to serve as committee chairs. If you are interested, please call the parish office at 655-3302 ASAP or attend Monday's meeting.

On behalf of the entire parish, thanks to everyone who helped make this year's FallBack Festival such an enjoyable evening! Special thanks to Becky and Martin Lopez for chairing this year's event, as well as to all of the other committee chairs and everyone who participated by purchasing and/or selling tickets, donating and/or bidding on auction items, preparing food, decorating the hall, cleaning up after the event (or any other task not mentioned here!!!).

Once again, our FallBack Festival was a success! Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to planning and coordinating this event. Our annual FallBack Festival is just around the corner! Tickets are available for purchase for $100 per couple. Please bring your silent auction items to the parish office by no later than noon on Wednesday, Nov. 2. We still need a few more volunteers for various jobs and tasks associated with the event, so please sign up for one if you haven't already done so!

We are still in need of some large live auction items, silent auction items (large or small), business services, or a unique talent. So far, our live auction will feature one half of a half of grain-fed, all-natural Akaushi beef. We need a few more live auction items to make this a fun and exciting part of the evening.
