While we are in one of the safest towns in Texas, we want to be proactive in making sure our parish is a safe and secure environment for all. After much prayer and deliberation among our deacons, leadership councils, and parish staff, we will be implementing new security measures beginning the weekend of October 1 & 2. The new safety protocols are detailed in Fr. Scott's Pastor's Corner in the September 25 bulletin. Please click on "New Weekend Safety Protocols" at the top of the article to view.

Calling all Moms! The moms of young children and home-schooled children will be meeting every Thursday at 9 a.m. for play and fellowship. If you are interested, please contact Hattie Jonson. (Her email address is in the September 18 bulletin.)

This class meets on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. in the Adult Ed Room and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room B (across from the Faith Formation Office).

St. Ann's high-school youth will have a retreat on Friday and Saturday, October 7 & 8. The guys will be going to Ceta Glenn and the ladies will be at the Panhandle Convent. Cost is $20 for an individual and $15 each for siblings. Email Angela at [email protected] to get your high school student registered!

The next Reborn session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. You must pre-register for this class. This session is for those who are planning to have a son or daughter baptized, and those who have been invited to serve as a godparent. As our regular youth ministry has shifted to middle school and high school youth, we are looking for a team of adults who would like to start a program for our 5th and 6th grade intermediate students. Domestic Monastery by: Ronald Rolheiser. Please read the book in its entirety and join us for its discussion on September 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Adult Education Room. Please purchase your own book, but if you can’t, we have a few copies in the parish office!

Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments at 6:30 p.m. Once again, we will have a Speaker Series presentation the last Wednesday of every month! Fr. Scott will be the speaker for the month of September on our Light on a Hill Building Project: Updates and News!

The Landings Team has been assembled and will have a training on Saturday, September 24 from 9:30 a.m. -3 p.m. We will meet in the parish hall and lunch will be served. Thank you to all who stepped up to reach out to our fallen away brothers and sisters!

Students preparing to receive First Communion in the spring AND their parents must come to a mandatory First Reconciliation workshop to receive supplemental materials for teaching their children about the Sacrament of Reconciliation. There will be two options for the workshop: Sunday, September 25 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. OR Sunday, October 2 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. To sign up, email or call Adrian Johnson at [email protected] or 806.655.3302 by September 21.

All parents of students preparing for Confirmation this coming spring must attend the Confirmation Parent Meeting in the Adult Ed room: Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m. OR Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. To sign up, email or call Adrian Johnson at [email protected] or 806.655.3302 by September 11. Parents, please watch the Chosen Parent Invitation video (link at the bottom of the page) before attending one of the above options for the Confirmation Parent Meeting. 

Please consider joining the St. Ann's choir this fall. If over the summer you discovered that your spiritual gift is music, come join the fun! We have several different practices and are always looking for scholarship students. Perhaps you just want a free supper once a month, need to pray twice, or just want to guarantee your seat for Christmas Mass! Whatever the reason, we welcome you to our choir family!
