A Safe Environment Training session will be held at 6 p.m. this Thursday, October 3. Working with the staff at the Catholic Student Center, the St. Ann's Safe Environment Coordinator will hold the training at the Catholic Student Center here in Canyon (2610 4th Ave.). If you are involved in any ministry at the church where children and/or youth are present, you must be Safe Environment trained. Please re-register at https://www.virtus.org. A Safe Environment Training Session will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, from 6-9 p.m. Due to the construction at St. Ann's, the session will be held in The Market, to the east of the church. Anyone who currently works with or plans to work with children or youth and is not certified needs to attend our next Safe Environment Training session on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m.-noon in the Adult Education Room. A few notes about Safe Environment Training (SET): If you are in need of SET, you can attend any training in the Diocese of Amarillo. There will be a training held at St. Ann's on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room. You must be pre-registered to attend any training.
