Students preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation (8th grade) this year are required to attend our upcoming Confirmation Workshop on Sunday, January 17, at 2 p.m. OR on Sunday, January 24 at 2 p.m. with their parents. Sponsors are not required to attend this workshop. Childcare will be offered at both workshops. If you have a students who needs one of the these sacraments, but have not received an email or phone call from Adrian Johnson, our Director of Religious Education, please contact the parish office at 806-655-3302.
Please make plans to join us on Wednesday, December 23, at 1 p.m. as we adorn the church for our celebration of Christmas. Please wear your mask and join us!
If you are 17 or older and have received the sacrament of First Communion, but were never confirmed, and are interested in being confirmed, please contact Adrian Johnson at the parish office at [email protected] or at 806-655-3302.
Since we don't have holy water available in our usual containers, we invite you to bring water in your own container to be blessed on the Solemnity of the Baptism of the Lord on January 9 & 10. It is that weekend when the main season of Christmas draws to a close.
Please pick up offering envelopes after Mass next weekend from the parish hall. Find the envelope with your name on it and take it for use throughout the year ahead. If there is not an envelope box with your name on it, please contact Stefani in the parish office to receive a box.
Liturgical ministers, please stop by the glass table in the narthex and sign up if you are an Altar Server, Lector, Communion Minister, or Usher and will be in town for either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and/or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. We especially need ministers for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Thanks!
The St. Therese Circle will coordinate our parish's annual Angel Tree project to provide children in need with Christmas gifts. Wrapped gifts should be brought to the church no later than Sunday, December 13. Please make sure all of your gifts are placed in two wrapped boxes with the angel attached. This ensures that all children will be able to ope two boxes when they receive their gifts. Thank you for your generosity in helping to provide a merry Christmas to children from our community!
