For the remainder of the summer, the ciborium will remain here at St. Ann's. We will resume scheduling host families after Labor Day. Thank you for your participation in this vocation awareness program ... and please continue to pray for vocations as a family during the summer months.

Many thanks to everyone who helped make our parish picnic such a great success!Your assistance with organizing, preparing food, hauling tables and chairs, grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, assisting with games, etc., is very much appreciated!

There is no Youth Ministry activity this week because of the I Heart Canyon Festival.

A Baptism Preparation class will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11 in the Parish Hall. If you are a parent planning to baptize a child or you have the honor to be a godparent for a child being baptized, this is the class for you. For more information please call Dcn. Dave Rausch at 681-9146.

Our second "Classic Catholic Movie Night" of the summer will be this Wednesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. This month's movie is Lilies of the Field, a delightful and award-winning film from 1963 about a traveling handyman (played by Sidney Poitier) who runs across a group of German nuns in the Arizona desert who are convinced he has been sent by God to build them a chapel! Join us for this funny and heartwarming movie. Popcorn and drinks will be served!

All intermediate, middle, and high school students are invited to join us on Wednesday evening for Mass at 6 p.m. After Mass, we will share a great meal, followed by a Steubenville reunion for high school students and a game night for intermediate and middle school students. See you there!

The Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is Tuesday, July 26. Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. in the church. Please make plans to join us!

This week, our parish's vocation ciborium is with the young people of our parish who are attending the Steubenville Conference in Tucson. We still need a family to volunteer to host the ciborium in their home next week (July 24-30). A sign-up sheet for the summer months is on the table in the narthex. Please stop by and find a good week for your family to participate in this vocation awareness program. Thank you!

Please pray for the high school students (and their sponsors) who will be traveling to Tucson for the Steubenville West conference this week. All participants are invited to be present at the 12:15 p.m. Mass on Wednesday, which will serve as the "Sendoff Mass" for this year's conference. The bus will be loading in the front parking lot of the church at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Please do not be late!

All incoming intermediate school, middle school, and high school students are welcome to join us this Wednesday evening for an evening of fun at Sports World! We will meet at the entrance of Sports World at 7 p.m. Please bring $5 for admission. See you there!

Rannah Evetts will present a slide show of her ministry in Uganda on Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. in the adult education room. She is also hoping to return to Uganda with some Catholic books for adults and children, prayer cards, and devotional pamphlets. If you are able to donate any of these items, please bring them by the parish office before Tuesday, July 26.
