The Solemnity of the Epiphany (next Sunday, January 5) brings the commemoration of the gifts given to the newborn Christ Child by the magi. We will have a variety of knick-knacks available for your taking. Items from our extra parish office stock will be placed in our church narthex while various things from Fr. Busch's estate will be located at the parish hall during Sunday morning doughnuts. A basket will be placed in both places if you'd like to make a donation for items you take. Taking something for yourself or for someone else.
A baptism preparation class will be held on Tuesday, January 14, at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room C. Please top by the glass table in the narthex and sign up if you are an altar server, lector, Communion minister, or usher and will be in town for either Christmas Eve/Day and/or New Year's Eve/Day. We especially need ministers for Christmas Day and New Year's Day, so if you are available for those liturgies, please be sure to indicate that. Thanks!

Our parish family will welcome Bishop Zurek next Sunday (December 15) at the 9 a.m. Mass wherein he will preside at the Order of Installation of a Pastor. This brief ritual serves to remind both the pastor and the people of our call to journey together in collaboration as members of the household of God. Fr. Scott would appreciate everyone's best efforts to be present at this Mass so as to benefit from our prayers and presence together as we continue the beautiful story of grace being written by God in us as the faith community of St. Ann's.
Just a reminder that wrapped gifts should be brought to the parish office or church this Thursday (December 12) through Sunday (December 15). Please make sure all of your gifts are placed in two wrapped boxes with the angel attached. This ensures that all children will be able to open two boxes when they receive their gifts. Thank you for your generosity in helping to provide a merry Christmas to children from our community!
Our parish will host the Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose on Monday, December 16. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, six silver roses travel each year from Canada through the United States and into Mexico. A special prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
