The first Confirmation II Workshop is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Students and at least one parent need to attend this workshop. Confirmation sponsors are invited to attend as well. This is for all students in the second year program.

Please note: in order to participate in this program and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, the candidate must: Contact the parish office for an interview with Fr. Scott. Be out of high school and at least 18 years old. Be able to commit to 10 hours of catechesis before Confirmation and at least 3 hours after the reception of Confirmation. Attend the Diocesan Confirmation Retreat on Saturday, March 16, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and the Diocesan Confirmation Mass for Adults on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m.. Provide a copy of their Baptismal Certificate. If married, provide a copy of the Church's certificate of the Sacrament of Matrimony. Understand the person he/she has chose to be the sponsor fulfills all the requirements as stated in Canon Law.
All students preparing for Confirmation AND their parents are required to attend the second Confirmation workshop on Sunday, November 5, from 3:30-5 p.m. Sponsors are encouraged to attend as well. The final workshop will be on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
Students in the 8th grade or above who attended religious education classes last year and desire to be confirmed this spring, must attend the Confirmation Information Meeting WITH their parents on Sunday, August 27, at 10:15 a.m. in the church. Bishop Zurek will come to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on our young people on Sunday, April 23, at the 11:30 a.m. Mass! The confirmandi and their families are invited to a reception in the parish hall after Mass. Please pray for the confirmandi as they prepare to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit! (Confirmandi should meet in the Faith Formation class at 10:15 a.m. and parents and sponsors must be at the church no later than 10:45 a.m.)

All students preparing for Confirmation this year must attend the youth retreat on January 27-29 at Ceta Canyon. This will serve as the Confirmation Retreat this year at St. Ann's. This will be a two night retreat and registration is now open at https://www.stannsofcanyon.org/youth.
All parents of students preparing for Confirmation this coming spring must attend the Confirmation Parent Meeting in the Adult Ed room: Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m. OR Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. To sign up, email or call Adrian Johnson at [email protected] or 806.655.3302 by September 11. The Confirmation Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, March 26, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., ending with Saturday evening Mass. This retreat is mandatory for all students (8th grade and above) seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. If anyone cannot make this retreat, please contact Adrian Johnson, DRE, as soon as possible.

All parents of students who are preparing to receive First Communion or Confirmation are required to attend the Sacramental Preparation Meeting on Wednesday, October 6, at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will give an overview of the First Communion and Confirmation programs and all their requirements as well as supplemental materials for parents to go through at home with their students.
