Divine Mercy Sunday is April 27,. This is a wonderful for conversion, inviting others to return to Church, and growing closer to Christ's merciful heart on this feast. Please note the following opportunities at St. Ann's to celebrate the feast and receive the plenary indulgence decreed by the Church:
Extra Confession Hours: Saturday, April 26, and Saturday, May 3, from 3-4:30 p.m.
Pray the Our Father, Apostles' Creed, and a special Hail Mary for the Pope after all the weekend Masses of April 26 & 27.
Encouragement of all to practice works of mercy and charity, especially inviting inactive Catholics back to practice their faith.

Make plans to join us for a special Corpus Christi morning for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday, June 2. St. Ann's will be hosting a Corpus Christi procession between the Masses on Sunday, June 2, at the old courthouse on the Square. After the 9 a.m. Mass, we will all arrive for coffee and donuts around 10 a.m. and begin the procession around the courthouse at 10:30 a.m. We will then come back for Mass at 11:30 a.m
Children's Liturgy of the Word (C.L.O.W.) needs your help! Do you love St. Ann's children and want to see them grow in their Catholic faith! We would love for you to join us. Volunteering for C.L.O.W. is easy and the time commitment is minimal. The lessons are already planned! Volunteers are needed for all Mass times! C.L.O.W. helpers must be Safe Environment trained. Candles and Reading of Names will take place at before each weekend Mass on November 5 & 6. We will read the names of those whose funerals have taken place at St. Ann's since last November 1 and light a candle in memory of each person. Table of Remembrance. Next weekend, November 5 & 6, lease bring pictures of loved one who have died to place on the Table of Remembrance near the baptismal font in the front. Please put your name on the back of the picture so it doesn't get lost. These can be taken home the weekend of November 19 & 20. Visit and Blessing of Cemeteries will be on Sunday, November 6, at 2 p.m. Our parish deacons will be present at both Dreamland Cemetery (in front of the little wooden chapel) and Memory Gardens (In front of the Holy Family statue on the west side) to pray the prayers for visiting the graves of loved ones from the Church's Book of Blessings. Holy Water will also be blessed at the cemeteries for visits to the graves of loved ones.
We will have a Children's Liturgy of the Word information meeting today (Sunday, October 2) in between the Masses in the church OR Tuesday, October 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Adult Education Room. Please come if you have signed up to help or wish to help.
Come spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament this Wednesday (October 5) from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Come for however much time you'd like or sign up to come for an hour on the sign-up sheet in the narthex! We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
Visit the St. Joseph Table in the church narthex today, March 19, to honor the Solemnity of St. Joseph. At the table, you will find blessed cookies, holy cards, and an opportunity to give thanks to God and contribute to the care of the poor with a box for the poor.
St. Ann's is celebrating All Saints Day and All Souls Day beginning with Candles and Reading of Names, the Table of Remembrance, and All Saints processions at all of the weekend Masses next weekend (October 30 & 31). The Visit and Blessing at Cemeteries will be on Sunday, October 31, at 2 p.m. All Saints Day Mass will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 1. All heads of each liturgical ministry will gather on Thursday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C to discuss with Fr. Scott plans and protocols for the training of new liturgical ministers.
The next Spiritual Gifts workshop is scheduled for Saturday, June 26. The workshop will be from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the parish hall, with brunch included. Sign up sheets are in the narthex. You can also sign up or ask questions by emailing Angela Asbill at [email protected].
f you are interested in becoming an Usher, Lector, and/or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please find signup sheets in the narthex in June for each ministry. Training sessions will be scheduled according to the number and availability of the trainees. Altar Servers -- If you or your young person are interested in becoming a part of our wonderful crew of altar servers, please remain in the church after the Masses on June 26-27 to sign up. Training sessions will be held in July and August. Candidates must have made their First Communion. Thank you!
Everyone is invited to join our RCIA Candidates and Catechumens for a "teaching Mass" on Sunday, January 31, at 5 p.m. This will be the actual Mass for that Sunday, the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, albeit in a teaching style. What you don't know about the Mass might be the one thing that's keeping you from being blessed by its grace and riches. This Mass will also be livestreamed on our website. Come and grow in your appreciation of the Mass!
Since we don't have holy water available in our usual containers, we invite you to bring water in your own container to be blessed on the Solemnity of the Baptism of the Lord on January 9 & 10. It is that weekend when the main season of Christmas draws to a close.
Palms will be blessed at next Sunday's Palm/Passion Sunday Mass and be made available for your drive-by reception. Fr. Scott and the deacons will be in front of the church next Sunday, April 5, from noon to 1 p.m. to hand out blessed palms and offer a blessing to those who drive up (moving north to south), weather permitting. Please do NOT exit your cars. Starting at 2 p.m. than day, blessed palms will be available in barrels for your taking in front of the entrance to the chapel, as well as next to the mailbox in front of the rectory. Please take only enough for you and your family, and save some for others.
