All women of the parish are invited to a social this Thursday evening (April 12) at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall. A fun evening is in store with Crazy Bridge, food, and fellowship. Please bring an hors d'oeuvre to share. Tea will be provided. Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet and mingle with other women of our parish community.
Parishioners who are 60+ years old are invited to join us next Friday (April 13) for a potluck luncheon, followed by an afternoon of bingo. The potluck will begin at 1 p.m. in the parish hall. Parishioners under the age of 75 are asked to bring a main dish to share, while those over 75 are asked to bring a side dish. Please join us for a fun-filled afternoon!
Bishop Zurek will preside at the annual Chrism Mass, at which the oils used in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick are blessed and the priests of the diocese renew their vow, on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral in Amarillo. All are invited and encouraged to attend this beautiful diocesan celebration!

As the season of Lent draws to a close, we invite you to bring your Lenten Rice Bowls to the Holy Thursday liturgy. They will be collected in baskets and carried to the sanctuary during the Preparation of the Altar, as a symbol of our love and care for the poor and those in need.

We need "all hands on deck" during this busy week, so please sign up today so that our office staff can prepare the schedule for liturgical ministers for Holy Week ASAP.

Lenten Fish Fry this Friday (March 23) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the parish hall. $10 for adults, $5 for children (ages 5-12), and free for children under 5.
Good Friday is a day of fasting (one full meal, two smaller meals that combined do not equal the full meal, no eating between meals) for all Catholics ages 18-59, and a day of abstinence from meat for all Catholics ages 14 and older.
Many thanks to everyone who helped to make this year's Czech Sausage Dinner a big success! Special thanks to Sarah Dawes for her tirelss leadership as chair of the event and to all of the committee charis for the time and energy you devoted to your areas of responsibility! Thanks, too, to everyone who volunteered before, during, or after the dinner. While as of this writing all numbers are still being finalized, it appears that we served almost 1,300 meals and will have yielded a profit of about $13,000.

We will gather for Mass at 6 p.m. this Wednesday evening in the church, followed by a beef stew and cornbread supper prepared by the members of the Saints Anne and Joachim Circle. After supper, we will have a Bingo night, complete with some great "mystery envelope" prizes! See you there!
This Thursday (March 8) at 6 p.m. in the church, we will gather for a communal Penance Service that will consist of a brief Liturgy of the Word and a corporate examination of conscience and prayer of contrition, followed by individual confessions. A few priests will be present with us that evening so that you will be able to have some choice in who hears your confession. All those who are preparing for First Communion are asked to join us at this service so that you can celebrate the Sacrament of Penance for the first time on Thursday night.
