Candles and Reading of Names will take place at before each weekend Mass on November 5 & 6. We will read the names of those whose funerals have taken place at St. Ann's since last November 1 and light a candle in memory of each person. Table of Remembrance. Next weekend, November 5 & 6, lease bring pictures of loved one who have died to place on the Table of Remembrance near the baptismal font in the front. Please put your name on the back of the picture so it doesn't get lost. These can be taken home the weekend of November 19 & 20. Visit and Blessing of Cemeteries will be on Sunday, November 6, at 2 p.m. Our parish deacons will be present at both Dreamland Cemetery (in front of the little wooden chapel) and Memory Gardens (In front of the Holy Family statue on the west side) to pray the prayers for visiting the graves of loved ones from the Church's Book of Blessings. Holy Water will also be blessed at the cemeteries for visits to the graves of loved ones.
All students preparing for Confirmation AND their parents must attend the first of four Confirmation workshops on Sunday, November 13, from 3-4:30 p.m.
All students preparing for Confirmation this year must attend the youth retreat on January 27-29 at Ceta Canyon. This will serve as the Confirmation Retreat this year at St. Ann's. This will be a two night retreat and registration is now open at https://www.stannsofcanyon.org/youth.
All Masses in November will be offered collectively for those you wish to remember. Envelopes will be available on the glass table in the narthex and in the parish office if you didn't receive one attached to a bulletin. Please place the envelopes in the offering basket or bring them to the parish office before the beginning of November. While it is customary to include a donation for the priests who offer these Masses, all envelopes will be included whether a donation has been included or not. The envelopes will be placed in a special basket in a place of honor in our church sanctuary for the entire month of November. May God grant eternal life to those who have died and comfort those of us who remain.
The Fallback Festival is looking for some high-ticket items, including airline tickets, football tickets, vacation getaways, etc. If you would like to donate something like this, please contact Becky Lopez or Cruz Hernandez. (Their contact information is in the October 9 bulletin.)

If you RSPV'd, join us this Tuesday for an evening of fun, food and fellowship at the Back Nine Ranch (BYOB)! Free nursery and childcare will be provided in the parish nursery from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Anyone who works with or plans to work with children or youth and is not certified must attend a Safe Environment Training session. The certification is good for five years. Our annual Halloween Carnival is scheduled for Monday, October 31, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall. All students are asked to bring a box of Little Debbies to CCD or Wednesday youth night between now and then. Adults, if you are able to provide a bag of candy, we will have designated barrels available in the narthex until, Sunday, October 30th, to drop off candy.
We have a tentative 5th and 6th grade youth program set to start up on Sunday, October 23, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall. More adult volunteers are still needed to serve in this new endeavor for us to begin. To find out how you can connect, please email Angela Asbill at [email protected].

We welcome all children who have received their First Communion to come and learn to serve in the Mass. Our training will be held in the church between the Masses on Sunday, October 16. Please sign up in the narthex to get trained!
