Do you feel called to serve at Mass? We ​are always looking for Altar Servers, Lectors, Ministers of Holy Communion, and Ushers. If you are interested, please contact Terri Huseman at the Parish ​Office (806-655-3302) or email [email protected].

If you signed up, or are interested in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and were not able to make one of the evening trainings, please join us at the following make-up training: between the Masses on Sunday, ​Oct. 27.

St. Ann's is fortunate to have a number of generous parishioners who have stepped up to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Lector, and/or Usher at our parish liturgies. As we do at least once a year, we will have a joint updating and troubleshooting meeting of all people CURRENTLY involved in these ministries after each of the Masses on the weekend of August 24-25 in the church. Please bring yourself as well as your questions to this meeting!

All current Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion need to stay after Masses the weekend of January 14 & 15 for important updates!

All heads of each liturgical ministry will gather on Thursday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C to discuss with Fr. Scott plans and protocols for the training of new liturgical ministers.

f you are interested in becoming an Usher, Lector, and/or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please find signup sheets in the narthex in June for each ministry. Training sessions will be scheduled according to the number and availability of the trainees. Altar Servers -- If you or your young person are interested in becoming a part of our wonderful crew of altar servers, please remain in the church after the Masses on June 26-27 to sign up. Training sessions will be held in July and August. Candidates must have made their First Communion. Thank you!

Liturgical ministers, please stop by the glass table in the narthex and sign up if you are an Altar Server, Lector, Communion Minister, or Usher and will be in town for either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and/or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. We especially need ministers for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Thanks!

Offering one's gifts as a liturgical minister is a singularly excellent way to give of oneself to the parish family. If you currently are or want to become an Altar Server or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, you must attend one of the corresponding update/training sessions. All sessions will be held in the church. Altar Servers:  Sunday, Feb. 9, 4-5 p.m. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Wednesday, Feb. 12, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Please remember that liturgical ministers must be registered members of St. Ann's, active and participating Catholics, and living according to the moral teachings of the Church, including the marriage and intimacy teachings of the Church.

We are in need of additional Communion ministers. If you are a baptized and confirmed Catholic, at least 16 years of age, and would like to be trained as a Communion minister there will be a training session on Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. in the church. Please contact the parish office (655-3302, ext. 0) if you plan to attend. Thank you for your much needed assistance with this important ministry!

Holy Week is now just one week away! If you are a liturgical minister (lector, Communion minister, altar server, or usher) and have not yet indicated your availability to serve at one or more of our Holy Week liturgies, please do so by singing one of the sheets on the glass table in the narthex after Mass this weekend.

Please stop by the table in the narthex and sign up if you are an altar server, lector, Communion minister, or usher and will be in town for either Christmas Eve/Day and/or New Year's Eve/Day. Place your name on the list, which ministry (or ministries) you are available for and then check all the Masses at which you might be able to serve. We especially need ministers for Christmas Day and New Year's Day, so if you are available for those liturgies, please be sure to indicate that. Thanks!

If you are an altar server, lector, Communion minister, or usher, please take a moment to add your name to the sign-up sheets on the table in the narthex and indicate your availability for our Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday liturgies. We need "all hands on deck" during this busy week, so please sign up today so that our office staff can prepare the schedule for liturgical ministers for Holy Week ASAP.

If you are available to serve as a lector, Communion minister, altar server, or usher at one of our Christmas liturgies, please place your name on the sheet that can be found on the glass table in the narthex and check the Mass(es) for which you are willing to be scheduled.

Don't forget to stop by the parish hall after Mass today for our annual parish ministry fair. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the many organizations, activities, and ministries of our parish and to consider participating in one or more of these ministries. Refreshments will be served at the fair!

If you would like to serve as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, please plan to attend the training session on Saturday, June 24 at 10 a.m. in the church.

Please see the list of assignments printed on the insert in this weekend's bulletin. If you are not able to fulfill your assignment, please call the parish office as soon as possible. Please do not find your own substitute this week ... we will find one for you, but please let us know that you need a substitute ASAP. Our parish is in need of more persons to serve as Extaordinary Ministers of Communion at our weekend liturgies. If you are a confirmed Catholic and at least 16 years old, please consider volunteering to participate in this ministry! A training session for new Communion ministers will be held on Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m. in the church. Please call Debbie at the parish office (655-3302, ext. 0) before then to indicate your interest in this ministry and your intention to be present for the training session. Thanks!

Since Holy Week liturgies require the assistance of so many liturgical ministers, we are asking all lectors, Communion ministers, altar servers, and ushers to please sign up on the sheets in the narthex, indication which liturgies at which you are planning to be present. Debbie and Fr. Busch will use this information to make Holy Week assignments. Thank you!!
