Our parish family congratulates the following junior high and high school students who are being confirmed by Bishop Zurek this weekend at the 11:30 a.m. Mass! As the gifts of the Holy Spirit are fully unleased in your lives, we look forward to seeing the ways in which God will help you to continue to grow as missionary disciples of Christ! All students who just completed grades 5-11 are invited to join us for our Summer Youth Ministry Kick-Off Event this Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Virgil Henderson Activities Center on the WTAMU campus.

The Confraternity of Christian Mothers would like to welcome our newest members--Cindy Gutierrez, Josie Lopez and Kathy Porter. 

Sunday, May 19, is the last day of faith formation classes for the 2018-19 school year. Thank you to all of our catechists for your commitment to the religious education of the young people of our parish family! We appreciate the time and energy you invest in this critical ministry!

If you are planning to have a son or daughter baptized in the next few months, or if you have been invited to serve as a godparent, please make plans to attend our baptism preparation class on Tuesday, May 21,  at 7 p.m. in meeting room C in the parish hall. Baptism preparation classes are scheduled for the second Tuesday of all odd-numbered months. In order to have your son or daughter baptized or to be approved as a godparent, you must have been registered as a parishioner at St. Ann's and participating regularly in the life of our parish (including Sunday Mass) for at least three months.

Thanks to everyone who pledged last weekend in this year's diocesan United Catholic Appeal. So far we have received 113 pledges for a total of a little more than $48,000. We are just $9,000 short of our parish's goal, so if you have not yet completed a pledge card, please take one from the table in the narthex, complete, and return it to the parish office as soon as possible. (Please do NOT mail your pledge card to the diocese!) Thank you for your continued generosity!

The Confirmation retreat will be on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the parish hall. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Students in grades 5-12 will gather for Mass this Wednesday evening at 6 p.m., followed by a taco bar supper. After our meal, junior high students will discuss praying with Mary, while high school students will meet in their men's and women's groups.

Our parish family congratulates the following students who are receiving their First Holy Communion today (Sunday, May 5) at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. This Friday (May 9), parishioners ages 60+ are invited to join us in the parish hall for a potluck luncheon and an afternoon of bingo. The meal with being at 1 p.m. Please bring a dish to share with others.

The Baccalaureate Mass is this Sunday (May 19) at 11:30 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Book scholarship winners will be announced at that time and the parish's gift to seniors will also be presented.

St. Ann's Quilting Ministry meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in meeting room C in the parish hall. Join us! No experience needed!
