Join us for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage this Tuesday, February 28, from 6:30-8 p.m in the parish hall. The supper is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and St. Ann's Youth Ministry. The meal is free, but donations are accepted. Proceeds will go to the high school Steubenville trip! Did you know .... pancakes became a common meal on Shrove Tuesday as a way of using up all fatty and rich foods before the beginning of Lent!
Any parishioners who wish to purchase kolaches at the Country Store during our Czech Sausage Festival are asked to call or text Donna Almond (her number is in the bulletin) with your order *before* Thursday, March 2. All orders will be bagged and kept at the Country Store for pick-up between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5. Thank you for your help in this effort!
We are excited about the variety of opportunities for parishioners to participate in special classes and group studies during the season of Lent! Please click the article title for a full listing of what will be offered.

As one of the largest parishes in the diocese, and as a parish located in a town with a great public school music program and one of the best state university music schools in Texas, we are hoping that St. Ann's will develop a choir that is second to none in hte Texas Panhandle! But in order to do that, we need your help! Please consider joining our choir for rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Male voices are especially needed, but all are welcome! You do not have to know how to read music. We just need parishioners who enjoy singing and want to "make a joyful noise to the Lord!" (Psalm 100:1)
Parishioners who are 60+ years old are invited to join us this Friday, February 10 for a potluck luncheon, followed by bingo. Please bring a dish to serve 4-6 people. Our parish community offers its support and prayers as Jeaneal Presley, Berkley Robertson, and Karley Edge take the next step in their journey towards becoming Catholic by participating in the Rite of Welcoming this weekend. We look forward to continuing to walk with you as you continue on the path towards the Sacraments of Baptism and/or Confirmation!
Please bring your Lenten Rice Bowls to the Mass of the Lord's Supper (Holy Thursday). Traditionally, gifts for the poor are carried to the altar during the procession with the bread and the wine. Here at St. Ann's, we will carry to the altar our Lenten Rice Bowls, filled with money for Catholic Relief Services, which assists those who are poor, hungry, homeless, sick, neglected, or in any kind of need throughout the world.
If you are planning to have your son or daughter baptized in the next few months, or will be serving as a godparent, please join us this Thursday, February 2 at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room C for our next Baptism Preparation Class.
